Labor is Australia’s oldest and largest political party. Established in 1891, Labor is rich in history and represents a broad range of economic and social interests.
WA Labor encourages you to join and make your voice heard - as a Labor member, you can shape decisions affecting our community, influence the policy of Labor governments and discuss ideas with other members.
Membership of WA Labor is about having a say in Australia’s future.
If you wish to pay by means other than credit card/online, you will need to download a Membership Application Form. You can print this form, complete it, and return it by post, fax or email.

Please do not hesitate to contact our Membership Officer if you have any enquiries by telephoning 9328 7222 or you can send an email.
People joining the WA Branch of the ALP are required to declare on the application form they are not a member of any other political party, that they will abide by the rules of the Party and that they are 16 years of age or older. All members under the age of 26 are also automatically members of Australian Young Labor.
Payments must be made using a personal credit card in your name or the name of an immediate family member who lives at your address. Any payment that does not meet this criteria will be refunded.
Fee structures are revised by the Party each October in conjunction with the beginning of a new membership year, with both the initial annual payment and monthly contributions subject to change. These changes will take effect for members after they have paid their initial annual payment for the new membership year. Members will be informed of these changes before they take effect.
